USA Electrical capacity

According to Mark P Mills, the USA now has the capacity to generate 760 gigawatts of power and has another 158 gigawatts in reserve. But really we have far less reserve because we need 144 gigawatts to be there for disasters, breakdowns, maintenance, and peak loads.

I think a standard nuclear power plant generates about 1 gigawatt of power.

I think the solar 1 plant in Las Vegas generates about 64 megawatts of power.

9-Mar-2010 smart grid technology - company called greenbox was making hardware and software to let people monitor their energy usage but they got bought out by Silver Springs networks.

Cotton Plant paint colors

Dance studio (7275 and 7277) is being repainted with antique white from Sherwin Williams

Back doors of some units were painted a tan color called "dubloon" from farrell calhoun in summer 2008.

Jackie started painting Cotton Plant roof 26-Oct-08. He is using an oil based primer from farrell calhoun. It is Tuffboy metal primer 1022 rust stop white.

2-Jan-2009 Jackie and helpers are thru with primer coat on CP roof. They just started painting the top coat with a latex paint from Farrell Calhoun called Premium Gloss 2400. It has B2L2 added, whatever that means.

propertyware is too expensive at $125 per month. I like buildium which is only $49.99 per month (property manager version) or even $35 per month if I get the landlord version twice: one for shamrock $14.99 (25 unit version) and one for cotton plant $19.99 (50 unit version).

Tenant file is cheap and looks interesting.

I have downloaded rentroll professional and will try that today

But filemaker pro is only $299 and I think i can build a program with that

Issues with PropertyCenterOnline:
systems hangs quite often - must click around or will hang indefinitely
tenant names not sorted properly (alphabetically) in dropdown list when entering a pmt. Sorted by suite order I think.
no way to create or print out a deposit
tenant name does not print out next to payment on property report that I used to try to keep track of deposits
System did not list square footage often enough - I fixed by including sq feet with suite name
One day dashboard was simply gone - all data was not there. It reappeared the next day or day after, but it was scary.
No way to back up data
No way to download data into a spreadsheet
